About  Us
Dean Pelling is Hastings born and bred and has been an active member of most local music interests, playing trumpet and cornet since the age of 10.

Dean completed his instrument repair training at the City of Leeds College of Music, graduating in July 1989 and being the only student that year to be awarded the diploma with distinction and the coveted Friends of C.L.C.M Prize for Instrument Technology.
Initially Dean worked from home, until he expanded in 1996 to a shop / workshop in St Leonards-on-sea.  Dean's name soon became established for the quality of his work and his professionalism, so it was of no surprise when he was head-hunted by a firm in Yorkshire.  Despite his many efforts, the move did not work out as Dean had wanted.  He was then approached by a couple of top London specialist shops , who were eager for him to join them.

After much consideration Dean decided that the only way to provide the high standard of personal service he believes in, was to re-establish his own business.
Dean Pelling Woodwind and Brass has now been established in Bexhill since 1998, serving players both professional and amateur from all over the country (and Australia).  The Business continues to grow as Dean's reputation spreads.
